Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  Can my insurance company make me have my vehicle repaired at the shop of their choice?

A:  No, as an insured motorist in New York State , it is your right to have your vehicle repaired at the shop of Your Choice.

Q:  Is your work guaranteed?

A:  Yes, we guarantee our work for as long as you own your vehicle.

Q:  What if my insurance company told me if I don’t use the shop of they’re choice they will not warranty the work?

A:  Insurance companies do not warranty body work, repair shops do, and that warranty is only as good as the shop you’re dealing with.

Q:  Can you start working on my car right away?

A:  Yes.  Even if we are waiting for an insurance adjuster we can usually start your repair process by ordering parts and examining the damage.  Repairing a vehicle that has been in an accident is a very important job and shouldn’t be rushed.  Don’t let 24 hrs compromise the integrity of your repair.

Q:  I can’t be without a vehicle, how do I get a rental vehicle or courtesy car?

A:  If you have rental coverage on your insurance policy, we will arrange for your rental.  If not, you may be eligible for one of our free courtesy cars.

A:  Many times in collision repair, a broken part can be found that was “hidden” at the time of estimate.  It is our responsibility to inform your insurance company of these problems and have them repaired at no cost to you.

Q:  What if your estimate is higher than another shop?  Will I have to pay the difference?

A:  No. Our efforts to do a thorough estimate, including the use of proper repair techniques, may cause our estimate to be higher than others.  You will not be obligated to pay for any of these additional repairs.
